CK Supports Rondeau Cottagers

In what's been a tough start to the week for the Rondeau Cottager's Association, a bright spot has come from Chatham-Kent Council.

Council has voted to support the RCA in its efforts to be named an Ontario Heritage site.

RCA President Dr. David Colby says this isn't just a win for the cottagers. "We've had this assessed professionally, and we meet the criteria for cultural heritage landscape of provincial significance. It needs to be preserved and now that's going to go ahead."

Colby adds they are in talks with their lawyer regarding the Superior Court's decision regarding tax notices for the cottagers.
