United Way Goal Inches Away

TekSavvy is donating $20,550 to the 2014 United Way of Chatham-Kent campaign.

The donation from the company yesterday puts the campaign just $27,000 shy of the $1.9-million goal.

"It's so close it's painful. We literally need [donations] up to the absolute last minute. Honestly we really do," says Campaign Co-Chair Margery Muharrem. "We have several of our wonderful donors that are able to help us out each year and this certainly is a good representation of some of the larger donors that we have."

The 2014 campaign total will be announced today at 4:30pm at the Jazzbah on King St. W in Chatham.
