Maroons Crush Nationals

The Chatham Maroons delivered a crushing 9-2 defeat to the London Nationals in GOJHL action Sunday night.

The Maroons were up 6-0 in the third period before the Nationals were able to score their first goal.  London scored again in the final frame but Chatham scored two more before the buzzer for the win.

Alexander Morgan and Brennan Feasey led the Maroons with two goals each. Jared Dennis, Luc Knight, Steven Beenackers, Gus Ford and Connor Doran all scored one.

The Maroons are back on Thursday to take on the Lambton Shores Predators at 7pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
