Winter Weather On Its Way

Environment Canada says some snow is on the way to Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.

Warning Preparedness Meteorologist Geoff Coulson predicts up to 5 cm (2 in) of snow by late this evening.

"As the day progresses, we are expecting that snow to finally reach the ground and start accumulating," says Coulson. "Probably looking at a few centimetres of accumulation by late this afternoon, early this evening. Then maybe another couple centimetres of snow through the evening hours."

Some freezing rain and ice pellets were reported this morning at the Windsor Airport.
