Graffiti Hits Downtown Chatham Businesses

Damage is pegged at over $5,000 after someone spray painted graffiti on some downtown Chatham businesses.

Police believe the damage was done late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. A total of eight businesses sustained damage.

Some of the messages included "We Love You 2015" while another business had the glass door completely spray painted with the message "Black Me Out" written on the side of the building.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
