February's Snowy Start Continues

More snow is on the way for southwestern Ontario tonight, adding to the dumping we received earlier this week.

Environment Canada Warning Preparedness Meterologist Peter Kimbell says over the last three days, we've already seen more snow than we usually do during the whole month.

"We had about 56 cm (22 in) (of snow) in January, and so far, we've already beaten the average February snowfall of 31 cm (12 in)," says Kimbell.

He says we can expect another 5 cm (2 in) to fall overnight from a system that's moving in from the west.
