Firearms Seized In Chatham

A 42-year-old man is facing multiple firearms-related charges after police seized three pellet guns and some shotgun shells from a Chatham residence.

Officers found the weapons while they were acting on a tip from the public.

Police say the man was previously issued a lifetime ban on possessing any firearms or ammunition.

A Chatham man is now facing four counts of possession of a firearm and four counts of failing to comply.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
