Home Invasion Update

Police have released more details regarding a home invasion north of Chatham.

Chatham-Kent police say after midnight on Tuesday, five suspects armed with guns forced their way into a house and assaulted the male homeowner, making off with some cash and jewellery.

The homeowner was taken to hospital, where he was treated and released.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen a vehicle with a group of men in it, driving around the Chatham area between 10pm and 1:30am that night, to call Chatham-Kent police at 519-352-1234, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
