Vipers Fall To Maroons

The Chatham Maroons were able to fight their way back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the LaSalle Vipers 5-2 on Wednesday.

The Vipers took their two-goal lead early in the first period, but it was short lived with the Maroons tying the game 2-2 before the second. Chatham then scored one goal in the second frame and two more in the final 20 minutes to extend their winning streak to nine games.

Maroons Head Coach Tyler Roeszler says it's a great feeling to have nine wins in a row.

"Tonight was huge to go on the road against one of the hottest teams in the league," he says. "We feel good about our game. We kept working and we found a way to win."

The Maroons are back on Sunday to take on the Strathroy Rockets at 7pm.
