Robotics Attract CK Students

For the first time, secondary schools in Chatham-Kent are fielding a team in the First Robotics competition coming up in Windsor.

Director of Marketing for St. Clair College Ann Hetherington says all of the schools have representatives on the team and their robotics project is just about complete.

"We've spent the last year working with the high schools in Chatham-Kent to encourage their students and their staff to get involved in this project and it's been tremendous," she says. "The students come together to build a robot and participate in the First Robotics competition that is held at the University of Windsor from April 1-4."

This will be the second time the First Robotics program has been held in southwestern Ontario.
