Teen Competing In National Pageant

A Tilbury-area teen is getting ready for the Miss Teenage Canada pageant.

Jessica Killoran, 15, represented Chatham-Kent-Essex at the provincial pageant where she was selected to move on to nationals.

"I just felt like it would be a really good experience and something new and very unique," say Killoran, who has never participated in a pageant before. "You don't hear about people doing that very often, so I just figured, why not give it a shot."

The national pageant takes place this August.
