Blades Hope To Avoid Sweep

The Blenheim Blades try to avoid being swept out the playoffs when they host Amherstburg.

The Admirals lead the Jr. C semi-final series 3-0.

Amherstburg head coach Paul Bortignon says if they want to get the sweep, they need to stay composed.

"If we can maintain our level of consistency and stay out the penalty box, I think it'll give us a good chance here tonight," says Bortignon. "Just kind of neutralizing their offensive attack, Zack Horvath and Teddy McGeen have been great this series, so I think those are gonna be two guys we gotta key in on tonight."

Puck drop us set for 7:30pm in Blenheim.

Meanwhile, the Dresden Kings are in Essex to take on the 73's, Essex leads that semi-final series 2-0. Puck drop is 7pm.
