Careless Winter Driving Leads To Charges

With a bit of snow and freezing rain expected Tuesday, the OPP is reminding motorists to drive according to the road conditions.

A perfect example of what not to do, police say, happened Sunday morning on slippery Hwy. 401 near Kent Bridge Rd.

Chatham-Kent OPP says an officer was driving to attend a collision up ahead when a vehicle driving 145 km/hr passed the vehicle.

A 61-year-old driver from Peterborough has been charged with speeding and careless driving.
