Walpole Island Deceased Identified

Police have identified the two men who died on Walpole Island last weekend.

The bodies of 64-year-old Conrad Johnson and 68-year-old Amos Ermatinger, both of Walpole Island, were found on Public Bush Rd. on February 22.

Investigators are waiting for the results of post mortem and forensic testing to determine the cause of death.

Police are reminding the public to stay safe when travelling outdoors, especially during harsh winter weather.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
