UPDATE: One Injured By Leamington Fire

Officials say a Leamington house fire was caused by careless cooking this morning.

Flames were spotted in the two-storey duplex on Marlborough St. W just before 8am.

Leamington Fire Chief Chuck Parsons says there were people home at the time. "The house was fully involved when we arrived. We got all of the occupants out at that time. One of the occupants was taken to hospital with minor burns."

Damage is being pegged at $140,000.
