Backyard Mission Looking For Nominees

Two Chatham churches are teaming up again to help out a local homeowner.

First Presbyterian Church and First Christian Reformed Church are looking to help a needy individual spruce up the outside of their home.

"We have 35-40 people who come on site for two days and we do outside work," says organizer Barb Sargent. "Everything is paid for by the two churches and by sponsors in the city, so it costs the homeowner absolutely nothing."

This is the seventh year for the project.
