Neighbour Arrested For Uttering Threats

What started out as an appeal for quiet soon turned into an arrest at a Chatham apartment building.

Police say on Saturday a man heard loud music and thumping in the apartment above his own. When he knocked on the ceiling to try and get the noise to stop, he says someone showed up to his apartment.

The man says the attendant started banging loudly from outside and shouting threats through the door.

Police arrived and arrested a 41-year-old man, charging him with one count of uttering threats. He has been released with a future court date.
