Update: Man Shot to Death

London's second homicide of the year happened in a home near Lorne Ave. Public School on Monday night.

London police say they were called to 504 English St. at about 10:30pm where they found a 36-year-old man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital where he died. His name has not been released.

Const. Ken Steeves tells Blackburn News officers are looking for three male suspects. They are all described as tall, wearing hoodies. One is white and two are black. They are also investigating reports about a vehicle that may have been involved.

Steeves also says investigators don't believe it was a random shooting. Officers from the Major Crimes Unit are still on the scene. They're asking anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area of Lorne Ave. and English St. on Monday night to call them or CrimeStoppers. An autopsy will be done on the victim today.
