Plowing Match Organizational Meeting

After a year of preliminary planning, the organization behind the 2018 International Plowing Match in Chatham-Kent is now working on some specific items.

A meeting taking place this evening will discuss what comes next.

"Specifically focusing on four committees that are going to be formed over the next month or so," says Chatham-Kent Plowman's Association President Rob Sterling. "Those include the cookbook, logo, website and corporate partner."

As well, there will be an update on preparations so far. The meeting gets underway at 7pm at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre and the public is welcome.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
