Outstanding Warrant Arrest

A Chatham man is back in police custody after turning himself in on an outstanding warrant.

Back on January 16, the 19-year-old was charged with taking a vehicle without permission. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.

On February 13, he failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Yesterday afternoon, the suspect turned himself into Chatham-Kent police and was taken into custody.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
