Chatham's Target Closing In March

Target Canada is announcing dates for several store closures, including the store in Chatham.

The doors will close on March 22 at the Grand Ave. W location.

In an email to BlackburnNews.com, the company says staff at closing stores are notified at least ten days before closing day.

A date hasn't been announced yet for the closure of the Target at Devonshire Mall in Windsor. However, the Target in Stratford is closing on March 18.

In total, three stores across Canada will close by March 18 while a further 13 will close on March 22. The closures come after Target Canada announced in January it would be ending its operations in the country and closing the doors on all of its 133 stores.
