Garbage Carts Appear In Tilbury

New garbage carts are showing up at homes across Tilbury and residents with questions about them are being asked to contact Progressive Waste Solutions directly.

A flier that's being distributed to affected residents says the carts are being delivered as part of a 45-day free trial, after which time, residents can choose to purchase the carts for $75 or return them at no charge.

Chatham-Kent municipal officials refuse to publicly comment on the carts, saying the bins are part of a private initiative that's being carried out by the garbage collection company.

Residents with questions or comments should call PWS at 519-360-9435 extension 0.
