Sting To Practice In Chatham

The Sarnia Sting are coming to Chatham.

The OHL club is holding an open practice at Memorial Arena tonight at 5pm.

Team President Bill Abercrombie says they started the community tour about three years ago.

"We take practices into the surrounding communities," says Abercrombie. "A lot of the smaller centres and different cities don't really get a chance to see the OHL up close. It's been really well received."

The team will also have merchandise and tickets to upcoming games for sale. The open practice will be followed by a free skate with the Sting players from 6:30pm-7:15pm.
