Leamington & LaSalle Win Again

The Leamington Flyers and LaSalle Vipers have both taken 3-2 leads in their GOJHL semi-final series.

The Flyers edged the London Nationals 5-4, Matthew Opblinger's second goal of the night was the game winner.

While, the LaSalle Vipers needed overtime to get by the Sarnia Legionnaires 4-3. Game 6 goes tonight at 7:30pm in London.

Brett Primeau scored the game winner for the Vipers on the power play, 3:09 into the extra frame. That was his second goal of the night.

LaSalle can close out the series with a win Saturday night at home.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
