Bong Found During Traffic Stop

A Chatham man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Tilbury.

Chatham-Kent police pulled over a pick-up truck on Dufferin St. around 9pm last night.

The officer found the passenger was in possession of suspected methamphetamine, and a used bong with visible residue.

The 24-year-old has been charged with drug possession and violating his bail conditions. He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
