UPDATE: Child Seriously Injured In Crash

A five-year-old boy is receiving further medical treatment in London after being sent to hospital in Chatham following a serious crash near Blenheim.

Police say the boy was ejected through a window as a result of the crash.

A 40-year-old Merlin woman is being charged in connection with the crash. She faces charges of failing to ensure a child is properly secured and driving with improper tires.

Chatham-Kent police say a family van travelling southbound on Middle Line lost control, crossed lanes and was struck by a northbound cube van.

Police say the crash happened shortly after 8:30am Thursday and caused about $15,000 in damage to both vehicles.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
