UPDATE: School Bus Crash In Chatham

A three-vehicle crash involving a school bus has lead to a careless driving charge for a 75-year-old Chatham man.

Police say a van failed to stop on St. Clair St. near Regency Dr. in Chatham around 7:30am this morning, and rear ended a stopped car, causing it to hit the bus.

A 63-year-old woman from Port Lambton was driving the car and was taken to hospital with minor injuries. None of the 18 students on the bus were hurt.

Damage is estimated at $30,000.
