High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Unknown suspects have stolen a utility trailer and more from a shop in Ridgetown.
Sometime within the last week, unknown suspects stole a white Interstate utility trailer from a shop on Marsh St.
The trailer contained four portable flourescent signs with computer graphics. The signs are valued at $60,000.
The trailer has the Ontario license plate P145 541. Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Kelly Wegrzyn at 519-436-6600 extension #85118 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
