Police Search For Truck Thief

Chatham-Kent police continue to search for a suspect after a truck was stolen over the weekend.

On Saturday night, police say someone took an unlocked Ford F-150 from the CBD parking lot on Dufferin Ave. in Wallaceburg.

On Monday, a tip came in saying the truck had been abandoned at Elgin Street Park.

The theft investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Dan Graham at dangr@chatham-kent.ca or 519-436-6600 extension #84984. Information can also be sent to Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
