Daycare Treasurer Facing Fraud Charges

The former Treasurer of Kiddie Korner Co-Op Nursery School in Petrolia is facing numerous fraud related charges following an extensive OPP investigation.

Police allege 60-year-old Isobel Coke of Wyoming misappropriated financial funds between September 2012 and September 2014.

Coke is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime and four counts each of obtain by false pretence and theft under $5,000. She has an appearance in Sarnia court June 1.

The OPP is encouraging anyone with additional information to call them at 519-882-1011.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
