NHL Central Scouting ranked the 18-year-old right winger 14th overall in the draft list of 156 CHL players in North America.
Konecny had 29 goals and 39 assists this season with the Ottawa 67's.
The 2015 NHL Draft takes place June 26-27 in Florida.
