Church Sound Equipment Recovered

Police were able to return $2,500 worth of stolen PA audio equipment to a church in Thamesville Friday.

Police say during the week of April 2, officers seized a sound system, believing it to be stolen.

It turned out the equipment belonged to St. James Presbyterian Church in Thamesville.

On Friday, police learned the identity of the individuals who previously held the stolen property. Two men were arrested and remain in custody pending a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
