Alcohol Related Charges On 401

A 55-year-old Raleigh Township woman faces a number of charges after Chatham-Kent OPP officers had complaints about a pick-up truck driving erratically on Hwy. 401 near Victoria Rd.

Police located and stopped the vehicle Saturday night and determined the driver had been drinking and had open alcohol in the truck.

She is charged with driving while impaired, driving with more than the legal limit, driving with alcohol available in a vehicle and having an open container.

She is due in court in May.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
