Local High School Rankings Out

The Fraser Institute's Report Card ranking Secondary Schools in Ontario has been released.

Chatham-Kent Secondary School was the top local school, moving up to 215 out of 749 schools in the province.

Of the nine high schools in Chatham-Kent, John McGregor was at the bottom, ranked 692nd.

The high schools in Tilbury and Wallaceburg both fell in the rankings, every other school stayed the same.

The Fraser Institute ranks schools based on seven performance indicators derived from province wide test results.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
