Affordable Dress Sale At UCC

Affordable dresses for special occasions go on sale today in Chatham.

Ursuline College's 6th annual dress drive sells gently used dresses for prom, graduation, or other formal occasions for $20. Shoes, purses and jewellery are $5.

"There's kind of that idea that you have to spend a lot of money to look good for your special occasion, and we know that in our community not everyone can do that," says teacher and organizer Tasha Sanford. "There's so many girls who have these beautiful dresses that just sit in the closet. What better way to reuse them again then to give them to someone who couldn't afford a dress."

The dress sale runs today from 3pm-7pm in the dance studio at UCC.
