A body has been found on a farm in Southwest Middlesex, west of Wardsville.
Middlesex OPP says on Thursday around 2:15pm, the property owners discovered the body in a wooded area next to a cornfield, on Longwoods Rd. west of Haggerty Rd.
The OPP Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Unit are assisting with the investigation. There's no word yet on whether the body is that of a male or female.
Police say the investigation is in its early stages, and no further information is being released at this time.
