The Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police says on Thursday around 2:15pm, the property owners discovered the body in a wooded area next to a cornfield, located on Longwoods Rd. west of Haggerty Rd.
The Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit, and the OPP Forensic Identification Unit, assisted with the investigation.
Police say following an investigation, no foul play is suspected.
SPS Board Chair Kelly Ash said the decision followed discussions with Acting Chief Mike Federico and aligns with practices at other police services.
