CK Talent At UFC 186

Chatham-Kent fighters saw varying success at UFC 186 in Montreal Saturday.

Chad Laprise defeated Bryan Barberena in a unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) to remain undefeated 10-0.

Laprise got out to a quick start in the first round, something he says they prepared for. ``We knew [Barberena] is a slow starter, and I wanted to get on him quick and early."

Laprise says he'll now take some time off before starting back up again. "I got a few stitches in my head, and I'm a little banged up. I'll rest for about a week then it's back to the grind."

Dresden`s Chris Clements fought in a preliminary card matchup, losing to Nordine Taleb by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
