Weekend Threats Lead To Arrest

A Chatham man faces charges after police responded to a domestic incident.

On Friday, Chatham-Kent police say they received complaints about threats being made.

After an investigation on Saturday, police arrested an 18-year-old man from Chatham, and charged him with uttering threats to cause bodily harm.

He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
