Municipal Communication Under Review

Further details have been released about a planned review of Chatham-Kent's communication policy.

Municipal council has approved the evaluation that will include a social media strategy, online events calendar and a council summary database.

Councillor Brock McGregor says they've received feedback from residents who wanted to get involved, but missed their chance. "Individuals sometimes have difficulty navigating the website, or finding out info on upcoming council initiatives. I just think there can be a better system to get that information out there."

Staff has been told to come back with a strategy by October.
