UPDATE: Fatal Crash Closes Hwy 3 (Gallery)

Two people have been killed and four others have been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Leamington.

The Ontario Provincial Police says on Wednesday around 5pm, officers attended the crash between Hwy. 77 and Essex County Rd. 31.

The four people taken to hospital have suffered "various injuries." One other passenger walked away from the crash unscathed.

Police were forced to close Hwy. 3 between Hwy. 77 and Essex County Rd. 31., as well as Morse Rd. between Essex County Rd. 18 and County Rd. 3 for several hours while officers investigated. The roads were reopened just after 11pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
