First CK Expo In Chatham

The first annual CK Expo goes today at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham.

Co-organizer of the event Rob Bellamy says the event is something along the lines of a Comic-Con event.

"Its kind of got a local twist to it, because around here wrestling seems to be very big, that's why we added the wrestling show to it," says Bellamy. "And maybe it's just me, I'm pretty biased, I find films to be pretty big in this area so I got the film room added, so we try to keep it as much entertainment locally, like what people here want to see."

The event will also include costume play and other fun and games, and will run from 10am-9pm. Tickets are $10 and are sold at the door.
