Community Impact Grants Available

Community members and groups who want to continue making a difference can now sign up for a grant from the United Way of Chatham-Kent.

Community Impact Director Helen Heath says they received ten applications last year. "It's meant to help organizations that want to start a new initiative, or expand an existing initiative. Or maybe they want to look at becoming a funded agency of the United Way down the road."

The United Way has a pool of $50,000 to distribute; $20,000 must go towards helping victims of youth homelessness.

Applications are due by May 29 at 5pm. You can find more information here.
