CKX Leaves Fans Wanting More (Gallery)

Organizers of the first annual CK Expo say the event went better than they ever could have hoped.

Co-ordinator for C-K-X Rob Bellamy says the pop culture show didn't disappoint. "Initially, we were hoping to have 600 or 700 people show up," says Bellamy. "We had close to 1,500 people there that day. It was absolutely amazing, the city just supported us beyond belief and we couldn't be more happier."

Bellamy says they were able to raise approximately $2,000 to be shared between Big Brothers Big Sisters and Habitat for Humanity, while Jenna's Cinderella-Project was able to collect quite a few prom outfits.

Saturday's event was held at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham and Bellamy says after the event, they were already planning their 2nd annual for next year.
