Chiefs For The Day

Two area students got to sit in the chair of the chief of police this morning.

They are the winners of an essay contest in which they describe how they would run the police service, and are designated Chief For a Day.

Both are Grade 5 students: Selena Wall goes to Dresden Area Central School and Haley Mailloux attends Ecole Elementaire Catholique St. Francis in Tilbury.

The students not only met with Chief designate Gary Conn but toured police headquarters including the forensic identification unit and the 911 emergency contact centre.
