Update: Hwy. 401 Reopens Following Crash

Police have reopened the westbound lanes of Hwy. 401 between French Line and Belle River Rd. after a two-vehicle crash.

The Ontario Provincial Police says a large boom truck lost control and rolled, crashing into a second vehicle. One driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The highway was closed for almost four hours while officials from the Ministry of Transportation assessed damage to the road.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
