Museum Day Celebration Today

It officially takes place tomorrow but Chatham-Kent Museum is celebrating International Museum Day today.

Curator Stephanie Saunders say that's because Milner House is opening for the season today, and it marks the start of its 70th season as a museum.

"It was a donation to the City of Chatham and it was intended to be a place to showcase Emma Milner's artwork," she says. "We'll be giving tours by costumed interpreter and we'll be announcing our scavenger hunt contest and we've got some great prizes that go along with that."

The Chatham Cultural Centre and Milner House are open from 1pm to 5pm.
