Improving Tourism In CK

Chatham-Kent is looking to improve tourism and is asking local business owners for help.

Tourism vision sessions are being held across the municipality this week, where a tourism expert will provide an update on what he's been working on since January.

"He's going to give us a little bit of an interim report on that," says Manager of Tourism Patricia Peters. "And then we're going to follow that up with some vision sessions for the industry to be attending, so that they can be garnering interest and be engaged in the process. They'll be able to give our consultant feedback on what it is he's discovering so far."

The first session is being held tonight at 7:30pm in Chatham at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre. More are planned for Dresden Tuesday morning at 8am, and North Buxton Tuesday afternoon at 1pm.
