(BlackburnNews.com file)Anyone who witnessed a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Chatham is being urged to come forward.
Police say a 25-year-old woman was crossing Grand Ave. W, outside of the crosswalk, between Ursuline Ave. and Violet St. around 3:45pm yesterday. That's when a vehicle being driven by a 72-year-old woman struck the pedestrian.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver wasn't hurt.
No charges have been laid at this point.
