Cops Supporting Cancer Patients

After a brief hiatus, Chatham-Kent police officers are once again shaving their heads in support of cancer patients.

Cops For Cancer takes place Friday night at 7pm at the Downtown Chatham Centre.

The Canadian Cancer Society's Krissy Rioux says getting the police involved makes a big difference in their cause.

"They're huge role models in some of these youngsters' lives. These young ones that are battling cancer can look and say, 'well I have my head shaven but these guys are helping to support me in my journey.'"
